At times, one feels that the narration should been faster. Mahesh creates a good narration at places but reveals what is in the store only in the end. It is left to the director to spice things up with just Murali and Meera in the frames most of the time. The story makes sure that other characters in the film have a limited presence. Murali tells Meera about Shwetha (Harshika Poonacha), the girl he was in love with. Situations force them to be together for the rest of the night. Meera, a stranger, forces him to give her a lift on his bike. Murali (Prajwal Devaraj) is a disenchanted youth. Until the last 10 minutes, when the director reveals the real story – it’s a big yawn. The entire plot happens in the night, with a few flashback scenes thrown in. ‘Murali Meets Meera’ – the title gives a clear verdict on the final outcome of the film. We had fun working for this film," says Harshika who has just completed her Engineering Course.In his second film, director Mahesh Rao has improved considerably. I had so far worked with some senior actors and for the first time I was able to work with artists who were just a few years older.
